This silver screen version of Bizet's opera starred an all-black cast featuring Dorothy Dandridge, Harry Belefonte and Pearl Bailey. I wish I could of gotten the stills of the costumes that captured my heart (especially Pearl Bailey's hats) but I couldn't, if I find more I will gladly add more.
