The thing that drew me into fashion as a child was the escapism within it all, how it could seem so surreal. The thing that kept me in fashion was the realization that it is a reflection of the times and vice versa. Here are two documentaries I enjoyed on the punk, and teddy boy movements. The first is Teen Spirit: Here Come the Teds and the second is Typical Girls, these are must-sees so go pop some popcorn!
Ugh! Can we say gangster-blasphemous-sixties inspired fabulousness?
Reminds me of...
Nancy Sinatra
Brigitte Bardot
mixed with...
Aerosmith's Crazy music video featuring Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone.
